System and Data Migration
Migrated a discontinued Salesforce app to another app within the platform in a process that included mapping of data from one set of objects to another, importing the data from the old app to the new one and applying required changes to reporting, Flows, and Apex code.
The migration of a discontinued Salesforce app to another within the platform involved several key steps:
Data Mapping: The process began with mapping data from one set of objects to another to ensure a seamless transition of information from the old app to the new one.
Data Import: Once the mapping was completed, the data from the old app was imported into the new app. This step is crucial to maintain data integrity and continuity.
Adjusting Reporting: The next phase involved making necessary changes to reporting mechanisms to accommodate the new data structure and ensure that relevant insights could still be generated.
Adapting Flows: Flows within the Salesforce app were adjusted to align with the changes in data structure, ensuring that automated processes continued to function effectively.
Updating Apex Code: Finally, the required modifications were made to the Apex code to reflect the changes in the underlying data model. This step is essential to guarantee the smooth operation of the migrated app.
By following these steps diligently, the migration of the discontinued Salesforce app to another app within the platform was executed successfully, ensuring minimal disruption and maintaining the functionality of the system.
Developed on the Salesforce platform and utilising FormAssembly and Salesforce automation (Visual Flow) this system was created to allow employees reporting of incidents which are then managed through to final approval.
The system was developed with no coding, on standard Salesforce features and was completed within 9 weeks from design to go live.
This kind of solution enables the organisation to remain compliance with government requirements and regulation by showing that all incidents are reported and all relevant history of the incident is stored in a single source of truth which is easily accessible to authorised users.

A call centre utilising Salesforce Voice in conjunction with a telephony partner has been successfully deployed. In this setup, calls are efficiently routed to the appropriate group of customer support agents based on various criteria such as business hours, dialed number, skill sets, and agent availability.
When a call comes in, Salesforce automatically identifies the caller and provides relevant details to the agent, enabling quick access to essential information for effective call handling. Furthermore, calls can easily be transferred to other agents or converted into support cases for handling by other specialized teams.
Supervisors have access to comprehensive monitoring features for both calls and agents, allowing them to oversee call center performance closely. This capability empowers supervisors to manage the call center effectively, identify service issues promptly, and ensure optimal customer support delivery.
